Each project is unique, but my process is designed to keep things collaborative and efficient:  
1. Discovery Call – We’ll chat to make sure we’re a good fit and figure out how I can support your project.  
2. Proposal & Scope of Work – I’ll send over a proposal outlining the project phases, timeline, budget, and deliverables.  
3. Kickoff Call – We’ll dive deeper into your brand and project strategy.

4. Creative Direction – I’ll create mood boards to align on the visual direction.

5. Design – This is where the magic happens! We’ll work collaboratively with a set number of revisions based on your budget and timeline.

Your project is your project, so I’ll adapt as needed to make sure we meet your goals.

MEG, WHY DO YOU WEAR HATS ALL THE TIME?

Hats are my thing—they’ve been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a kid, they’ve been how I express myself authentically. My five-year-old self would proudly show you the hat rack that held everything from baseball caps to a beret I wore with serious confidence (check out this gem of me rocking it).

These days, my collection isn’t quite as eccentric—I mostly stick to flat bills—but hats are still a big part of who I am. At one point, I felt the pressure to dress or act a certain way, like society wanted me to fit a mold. But now, I’m back to being me, embracing what feels true and authentic.

Hats aren’t just an accessory—they’re a little piece of my story and a reminder to stay true to myself. They’ve even made their way into my branding, symbolizing humanity and authenticity.

For branding projects, I focus on presenting one in-depth concept rather than multiple options. This ensures the final design is intentional and aligned with your brand. For other types of projects, I use a similar approach tailored to the deliverables.

WHAT INSPIRES YOUR DESIGNS?

Creativity is everywhere—from the patterns in nature to the design of a highway sign or even someone’s bold fashion choices. I find constant inspiration in the beauty that surrounds us daily. Growing up by the ocean has always been a big influence—it’s my happy place where I can clear my mind and let new ideas flow in with the tide.

That’s totally fine! We can work together to figure out what will best support your business. During the discovery call, I’ll ask a lot of questions to understand your needs, and from there, we can determine the best path forward.

I strive to set my clients up for success by leaving them with the tools and resources they need to execute my designs the way they’re meant to be used. That said, I’m always here if you need ongoing support, whether it’s updates, additional design assets, or just questions about how to use what we’ve created. WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH YOUR LOGO?

My logo reflects everything I value in both my work and life. The sunrise symbolizes hope, peace, and a deep connection to nature. It represents my mission to bring hope into the world and spread kindness by supporting businesses that strive to do the same.

Look closely, and you’ll notice elements of a pencil—because every one of my concepts starts as a sketch. The round shape evokes the earth and a sense of togetherness, while the clean lines mirror my love for tidy, intentional design.

Great logos don’t have to spell everything out—they should evoke a feeling. Think about how Apple isn’t a computer or Target isn’t a bullseye store. The goal is to create something timeless, memorable, and meaningful.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF PROJECT TO WORK ON?

Brand identity is my jam. Helping businesses discover and express their authentic visual selves is something that really aligns with my values. It’s all about crafting a brand that feels real, true, and resonant—there’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing a business find its visual voice and own it.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO OUTSIDE OF DESIGN?

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me camping, kayaking, hiking, or just relaxing on the beach. Nature is my happy place—it’s where I get the space to recharge and let new ideas flow.
