MISSOURI FOREST PRODUCTS ASSOCIATION
CAMPAIGN ADS
BRIEF
The Missouri Forest Products Association needed a set of advertisements to support their “ChooseWood” campaign — a public awareness effort encouraging consumers to choose real wood over synthetic alternatives by highlighting its benefits for health, home, and the environment. The project included three billboard ads and one print ad. While I was provided with the campaign copy and brand guide, the visual direction was left open-ended.
SOLUTION
To ensure the billboards were eye-catching and effective from a distance, I used realistic vector illustrations. This approach allowed the designs to remain sharp and scalable, eliminating the risk of quality loss at large sizes. Each ad was crafted to feel bold, playful, and memorable, helping the campaign stand out visually while reinforcing its core message.
For the print ad, I adapted one of the billboard concepts using photography to achieve a more realistic, high-resolution look appropriate for close-up viewing. The final designs were met with enthusiasm by the MFPA team and became a central visual element in their ChooseWood campaign.
